MemoSpot — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MemoSpot ("we", "the app") handles your information. By using MemoSpot you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account: your email and username, via Firebase Authentication.
• Content you create: restaurants, dishes, ratings, notes, collections, and the photos/videos you upload.
• Approximate location: used only to find nearby places and events when you open the Discover features. It is sent to find results and is not stored against your profile.
• Usage/diagnostics: basic logs and crash data to keep the service working.

How we use it

To provide the app's features (saving and sharing your dishes, following people, discovering nearby places/events) and to keep it secure and reliable.

Sharing

We use service providers to operate the app: Firebase (authentication), Cloudflare R2 (media storage), and third-party content sources for Discover (Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, Foursquare, Yelp, OpenStreetMap, TheMealDB). We do not sell your personal data.

Your rights

You can edit your profile in the app and permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account. To make other data requests, contact appmemospot@gmail.com.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, content, and uploaded media are removed.

Children

MemoSpot is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

Changes

We may update this policy; continued use means you accept the changes.
